AmeriTitle is a very different company than the one-office, ten-person title and escrow operation known as Mountain Title Company of Klamath County, founded in 1985 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Year by year, we have built upon our company foundation with the purchase of other title agencies. In fact, in the 20-plus years since our founding, we have grown to become the Northwest’s largest title insurance agency with a full network of offices throughout the Pacific Northwest.

MTC, Inc. purchases Mountain Title Company of Klamath County

1990
MTC, Inc. purchases Bend Title Company

1996
MTC, Inc. changes name to AmeriTitle, Inc.

1997
AmeriTitle enters Washington with purchase of Pioneer Title (Kittitas County, Washington)

2000
AmeriTitle enters Idaho with purchase of Mountain Title Company (McCall and Cascade, Idaho)

2001
AmeriTitle operations collectively open more than 50,000 new orders

2002–2005
AmeriTitle is recognized by Oregon Business Magazine as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work for in Oregon, ranking number seven in the large company category

2006
AmeriTitle opens 41st office with addition of Yamhill County operation in McMinnville, Oregon

2008
AmeriTitle enters Jefferson, Morrow and Gilliam Counties in Oregon along with Madison County, Idaho

2009
AmeriTitle is named One of Idaho's Best Companies to work in a statewide employee survey conducted by Idaho Business Magazine.

2010
AmeriTitle celebrates 25 years of superior title and escrow services throughout the Pacific Northwest.

The company is named for the second consecutive year as One of Idaho's Best Companies.
